I’m sitting here, not watching ” a place in the sun” on TV. The family are all out as my granddaughter is moving into a new flat tonight and her parents are helping, and my grandson has football practice.

I’m all ready to leave and have been in touch with friends in Italy today. It’s nice to feel welcomed back.

I’m getting a lift to the airport tomorrow morning at 6am so feeling relatively relaxed. If all goes according to plan I should arrive home in Pisticci about 4pm .

This morning I met daughter number one for coffee in my new favourite coffee shop. (It’s Italian)

There was time to do a little retail therapy as I’m a little addicted to charity shops.

Now I think I might look for some NCIS on TV and drink some wine.

Doug the dog will keep me company.
