Today I varnished the mural . As usual it seems amazing to me that I painted it. Being an artist is pretty special I think.

Next week I have another smaller piece of work planned and I need to check out another mural type commission.  Not counting 2 paintings which need to be finished by the end of July.

But before that I need to get my house in order. That includes getting it cooler.  It’s 30C inside. Too hot!

So it’s nice to have a long weekend to get myself organised.

( not sure if it’s climate change, but my house used to be 25C inside all summer. The last 2 years it’s been 30C)

However right now it’s lovely outside. The only problem is deciding which way to face.

This morning I finished the 4 practice paintings I did for the mural and now they’ve joined my other black based paintings.

So the plan for tomorrow is to organise fans and sort out how I can comfortably work and sleep.

But now I’m celebrating the conclusion of a satisfactory mural .
