This morning I set off for the chinese shop and bought another 5volt fan.
I was wondering if it was okay to talk about the chinese shop which is run by a lovely chinese girl and sells ( I’m fairly sure, mostly goods from China.)
I decided that as a Scottish person if I had a shop in Pisticci which sold Scottish goods then I’d be happy for it to be called the scottish shop.
It’s my favourite shop in Pisticci.
Anyways, I was given a free fan…..the shaking kind.

Feeling successful and pleased with my new fans I headed to the supermarket and managed to find a washing up liquid which says it’s 99% biodegradable. So I can save my washing up water again and use it on my plants. I did that last year and they survived.

I was back home by just after 9am.
I wrote a list of the things I did today, which I tend to do if I’m worried that I’m not doing enough.
It wasn’t very long…
I watched several short videos by the ” paint coach” and then printed out some photos of the planes on heads useful for portrait painting.
I also ordered a light which he recommended so that I can leave the shutters closed if it’s very hot. My current lighting set up is not great.
I did some handwashing and hung it out. In this weather it can be dripping wet and still dry in a few hours.
I finally got round to ordering more gas and it was delivered this afternoon.
And I spent some time trying to work out what size to make my next canvas which is to be 100cms wide . I need it to be in the same proportions as 70x50cm canvas. I’m doing a larger version of one of my paintings. I haven’t quite worked it out , but am guessing that 100×75 cms might work.
I also did a first coat on the small kitchen painting.

Finally it’s 6pm. The temperature has been high again today. I cleaned my big fan which I use in the gallery and it’s working much better. ( so far….)
Wine time now and the weekend is beginning. I’m still considering my painted kitchen upgrade. Maybe I’ll do it tomorrow.
But for now….cheers🍷🍷
