Despite not sleeping well last night, not due to being too hot , but probably drank too much coffee and caused some fairly scary dreams, I’ve had quite a productive day.

I was up at 5.30am. It was boring trying to sleep.

My first job today was to make a 100x70cm stretched canvas. I don’t find sawing very enjoyable, so I thought I’d get it out of the way as soon as possible.

Now it’s roughly drawn and ready to start work on.

I spent most of the day , apart from a 2 hour lunch break, painting a kitchen scene.

The best thing about today is that I haven’t been too hot. I think I’m finally organised. Which is just as well as from Monday the temperature is to be above 40C.

Moving my fan in my living room has helped.

Tomorrow, finally I think I’ll paint the white tiles over the sink . I’m still thinking terracotta. It would be a nice Sunday job.

Now it’s wine time and maybe I’ll look for something to watch on Netflix.
