That would be because I actually live in 2 lammie (village houses) connected by a narrow doorway between the houses.

After being out last night to a concert in the piazza and leaving early as I was too hot.( At 10pm! )I thought it was time for some action. 32C in my other room/house is just not good. That’s 2 degrees more than last year and 7 degrees more than 5 years ago.

So I moved. It took about 15 minutes to get set up in my gallery.

My gallery is completely underground at the back and has 2 storeys above it.

In the winter it’s freezing.

Right now it’s lovely.

My plan today was to paint all day, but I did get a bit distracted.

So accompanied by another Hamish Macbeth audiobook I’ve painted off and on most of today.

It feels good tonight to be cool and comfortable .

Especially after checking the weather forecast this morning and seeing that next week will be much the same and possibly even hotter.

I’m very lucky to have options to keep cool.

Wine time in my gallery is okay.

More painting tomorrow and then something fun for the weekend I hope.
