I went out early this morning and am now stocked up with wine and carrots. So I can happily skulk at home painting in the cool for the next few days.

I finished the latest commission this morning and it will be collected next weekend.

Then I adjusted my latest seascape.

It’s always a good feeling to finish something.

This afternoon I begun a painting for me because that’s what I like to do at the weekend.

I’ve done rather a rough drawing so far.

I’ve just been outside to bring in some washing and my new red flower is looking a bit faded.

I’ve been watching a series called Lilyhammer on Netflix. It’s quite funny so far.

I think I might wait until a lot later to do the watering. It’s still very hot.

Wine time now and then maybe some more work before I start the evening properly.
