I really wanted to get the disciples finished today…..but it’s taking longer than I thought it would. Tomorrow I’ll need to start at the left side and work my way along fixing all the little things…..without, very importantly, getting too fiddly and painting the life out of it.

After lunch it was time to prepare for the art lesson.

I think that learning to see what is there is really important. But I would like this time to be fun for me and the student.

So today’s lesson involved observing with pastels.

I haven’t used them in ages so I had a quick practice on not very good paper .

I enjoyed myself. Pastels are very tactile.

The lesson went well. We both learned things. That must be good.

I’m tired now, and hungry.

And it’s the weekend.

Been a satisfactory day.
