2023 in Pisticci…a sweet start to the day…..

It’s  nice when your neighbour  arrives at your door at  8am asking if you would like some cake.

Of course I would.

Molto yummm!

That was a pretty nice way to begin a day with no particular  plans.

I was going to read for a while ,but it was more fun chatting to my sister.

I had a very short walk and took some photos. Some of which I might paint.

Looking up the pink brick road.
Still lots of oleanders blooming
A new little horse
My street looking pretty as usual.

By then it was time to make lunch.

My only, possibly silly , artistic endeavour  today was attempting to make my new art table cover match the carpet.

It shouldn’t really matter as it will get all messed up with paint soon.

And another neighbour  popped in to make an arrangement to bring a friend to look at paintings.

I think I’m on my last Commissario Brunetti  book. I will miss him. And Venice. I’ve a set of 5 free books about a Scottish detective in Edinburgh ready to read next. I highly recommend  the Commissario Brunetti books.

It seemed a good idea to at least organise some photos for a few new local scenes. So tomorrow I mean to draw several.

Now I just want a glass of wine and a nice relaxing evening.

It’s  so much cooler now. ( relatively…..as over 30C is still quite hot.)

Cheers🍷🍷
