And I’ve been out 3 times in the evening this week.

Last night I could hear music which sounded as if it was coming from nearby. I had planned to stay in, but persuaded myself just to go for a little walk as the exercise would be good for me. And I was worried that I might miss something.

So I got changed, but kept my too big sandals on (long story) . I reckoned no one would notice in the dark. They are very comfortable, but look enormous. ( size 42) Am already self conscious about my big feet….but these stick out 3cms past my big toe.

( I didn’t see anyone looking at my feet so it was okay.)

The noise was actually coming from the Piazza San Rocco. It was very loud karaoke.

Having come so far I thought I’d just take a walk up and see what was happening at the Film Festival.

It was good to meet old friends. There are so many people in Pisticci right now.

Back home I sat outside, listened to the karaoke and drank wine and water before going to bed.

After shopping this morning…..with the big sandals….I got to work and finished another local scene just after lunch.

I considered starting another one, but decided that finishing and glazing the four I had already done would be a better idea.

The other 3 paintings I did were commissions.

I’ve another local scene I’d like to do tomorrow as a Sunday painting. I like it, but I’m not sure if it will be very commercial.

I might….or might not go out for a walk tonight.

But , now it’s time for wine.
