Judging by the photos, crowds, cheering, general excitement and my experience it has been a good one.

Tonight there is a big concert in the piazza nearby which I imagine will be loud and crowded. I might take a walk around to see the crowds, but I don’t think the music appeals to me. If it’s like the other big concerts then the streets will shake and the bass will hurt my ears.

Last night I was lucky to spot these dancers on my short walk uptown.

Nights have not been peaceful. Yesterday there were 2 lots of fireworks, the second lot finished at 1.45am.

Then my cricket started up again…beep, beep, beep, beep at 3am.

I was going to paint my mural wall white this morning ,but both ferramentas are closed.

Today , after not painting the mural wall, I drew a church for my next commission.

And then there was the art lesson. It was fun. I’m learning lots ….and hopefully so is my student.

I think I could have a relaxing weekend as I’m prepared for next week.

Now, I’m happy to chill with a glass of wine and some taralli.

It looks like there is another heatwave coming, but tonight it’s coolish.
