2023 in Pisticci ” it’s only the end of high summer, there are at least 6 weeks of low summer to come”

That cheered me up.

I was looking at the painting I more or less finished today which was of the view I have when I’m sitting outside having breakfast or coffee.

From thinking it was a disaster I tried really hard and now , if not a masterpiece, it’s the best one I’ve done of this scene.

Today it feels like the strong wind has blown the heat away.

I had to come home from mural painting to get a shirt.

Ready to start work
Found the roof difficult.
Can’t help stopping on way to work to photograph this.

I was home by 11am as I’d finished what I wanted to do and the wind was blowing my stuff around. ( will be better prepared tomorrow. )

My church commission left, along with a street scene. Nice!.

I’ve ordered more colours of paint as this mural is to be bright. I’m looking forward to ” going for it”.

Most of the afternoon I spent finishing the street painting.

Tonight is the last Pizza night in August. (4 pizza nights = 2 weeks food shopping so I’ll be back to the occasional pizza after this.)

I heard the cricket this morning.

However it’s okay to sleep in my other room now.

It’s windy so it’ll be a a nice walk to the pizzeria.

Cheers πŸ·πŸ·πŸ•
