This was mainly because I couldn’t sleep for thinking about how I was going to change a plant in the mural.

Eventually I decided that I wouldn’t get to sleep until I had worked it out.

So got my phone and my tablet and PAINTART app and after several tries I came up with something, which could be improved ,but is definitely close to what I wanted.

Since I discovered ,after using the PAINTART app for about 2 years , that it was possible to download a photo and then paint on it , it has been such a useful tool. I can try out different ideas before I paint on walls.

Then when my alarm went off at 6am I got up, let Fluffy in, did 3 mins yoga, had breakfast, put on working clothes, then opened the door to ominous looking grey clouds.

I checked the forecasts. Some said “rain” and some said ” storms” . One had a wind warning.

I decided to stay home and check out colourful Italian wild flowers.

(Needless to say there has been no rain or storm so far. )

However I’ve printed out several varieties of flowers which will be added to the mural.

And this afternoon the post lady arrived with the rubber mats to make stamps.

I’ve never made stamps before, but it was fun.

Today’s art lesson was all about cake. It was fun.

Tomorrow’s forecast is good…..or was the last time I looked so I have a good idea of what I’d like to get done on the mural. I think I should be finished by next Friday. It’s been nice not rushing.

Wine time now. Been a productive day.
