It feels good that I put a second coat of varnish on the mural this morning. Not that the rain would have been much of a problem.
I’m also glad that I finished when I decided to. I would have spent longer this week each day if it had been necessary. I think I know when I’m just killing time and fiddling with things which would be better left alone.
I didn’t realise that my very first mural….or painting on a wall was done 8 years ago.

I was really tired today. Maybe getting up at 6am and being at work for 7am( ish) was more exhausting than I thought…..or maybe sleeping on a mattress on the floor feels a bit too temporary. I’m looking forward to being able to use my bedroom/ attic again, which should feel a bit less like camping.
However I’ve found another Italian detective series. ( Sandro Cellini) and that is keeping me nicely entertained when awake.
This weekend I should tidy out my art equipment as it’s starting to get in a muddle again.

After lounging about, in between watching a previously unseen episode of Portrait Artist of the Year, washing my hair and cleaning a big bundle of paintbrushes I finally spent an hour on the latest local scene.

I’ve no commissions right now so I can paint what I like next week. Though that will likely be more local scenes which I drew but, hadn’t time to paint.
Now it’s weekend wine time. Lots of vlogs on youtube to watch in the next few days. And I’m still so happy to have my health card back.
Cheers🍷🍷
