I spent about an hour finishing off the latest portrait. It’s done.

I sent a photo to the client and they like it.

Then I didn’t really know what to do…..

Luckily the courier phoned so I rushed off out to the piazza la Salsa to collect new paint brushes.

Then I watched another episode of Portrait Artist of the Year.

And wondered what to do next.

I think that I’d like to paint more portraits, but ones which I chose. However I’m a bit shy of asking people if I can take their photo ……and it’s not the same painting from stock photos.

I tried out the camera on my tablet . I completely forgot that there was one.

Perhaps I’ll think of something to paint tomorrow. It makes me feel very unsettled to have no plans….

But I’ve just had gas delivered so when I need heat I’ll be okay.

That feels good.

And it’s wine time.
