I don’t really know where I am because it was dark when I arrived. It’s up high though and apparently has a lovely view of lake Trasimeno.

It has taken me nine and a half hours to get here. Including several adventures ending with not being able to open the train door and having to run through 2 carriages to find an open door.

It wasn’t exactly a relaxing trip. 20 mins to get from the end of one platform in Roma Termini to the furthest away one was quite a challenge.

Starting with a bus , when I had booked a train and leaving 20 minutes before the scheduled train time.

Luckily I had arrived early thanks to a friendly local bus driver.

I’m a bit tired. But so happy to have arrived.
