It’s been a beautiful day. I’ve taken some photos. Katy is buying me some crayons and children’s paint in the supermarket as I didn’t bring any art stuff except a pen and a small sketch pad and I’m regretting that as there is so much I’d like to paint here.

There are quite a few wedding events which I’m not going to so I’ll have plenty of time.

Making a “live ” record of being here should be much more meaningful than painting from photos back home. Though I’d really like to do at least one Sunday painting of a corner of the garden.

Very pretty.

I spent half an hour this morning designing a mural for my attic bedroom. It might be a Christmas project. I’ve never ” painted ” an extension before.

Am having wine time early today.
