I’ll miss this place.

Tomorrow I’ll have an 8 hour journey home.

My sketchbook will be a great souvenir.

Now I need to pack.

Tomorrow for the first 2 hours on the train I’ll be travelling with family.

Then in Rome I’ll head south and they’ll have 2 more days exploring.

I’ve arranged for a friend to pick me up at Pisticci scalo. Maybe there would have been a bus, but a friendly face is nicer.

I’m seriously thinking of starting to paint an extension in the attic to cheer myself up on Sunday.

Meantime I’ll drink wine and feel good.
