After sitting outside having a coffee I got started on my extension. Which , I am painting. I hope it works!

I began by emptying 2 bookcases onto my bed. And soon I had the wall all ready to paint .

First step was to cover the wall with a rough mixture of brick colours.

Then after that came the sponging part, using several different colours.

After that I took a break to let the paint dry before I started to draw the bricks.

However most of the bricks are behind the bookcases. I added two white posts to finish them off .

I’m quite looking forward to continuing, but tomorrow morning the electricity is to be off for a few hours and it’s quite dark upstairs, so I might have to wait until afternoon to carry on.

Today’s art lesson involved apples . Now I have a lot of apples to eat.

But it’s been a very satisfactory day.

And now it’s wine time.
