2023 in Pisticci .. cold , dark and wet…..

This morning there was no electricity for several hours. Some men were doing something with wires and things outside my house.

I made an effort to work on the extension using 2 torches . As it was dull, grey and raining there wasn’t much light upstairs.

Not great light, but I drew and measured things for a while, inbetween looking out the window to see what the electric men were doing.

When the lights came back on it was better. Though I’m not too happy with what I’ve done today. It needs a lot of improvement…..but I can see that it could work.

Still very much a work in progress. I’m not happy with the bricks. And I think the back wall needs to be darker. I painted the floor part with wall paint. It might need another coat to match the actual floor.

I think I should be finished by the weekend.

In the meantime it was good to see Fluffy, who has started jumping up and looking in the window.

She stayed for a while. Didn’t like the rain either.

Then she came back this afternoon and brought the kittens. They are both eating dry cat food now.

I made sure they all left together . Then I looked out.

It’s Tuesday pizza night so I’m planning to go out later. Might need a jacket!!

Still, the sunshine will be back.

Wine time is postponed until it’s pizza time.
