Or was there…..

I suppose it’s down to how I look at things whether I think it’s been an exciting full day or not.

I had porridge for breakfast and ginseng coffee out of a sachet as I’m out of eggs and normal coffee. That was nice.

Then Fluffy and the kittens came to visit.

Then I tried to arrange something to do with travelling and managed to get in a complete muddle which ended up with a positive result much to my surprise.

I went to the farmacia where my prescription hadn’t arrived, but as I’m known there and they are very helpful it all got sorted out.

After that I went to the supermarket where I found sweet potatoes. They never have them so that was a real treat.

I forgot to buy coffee.

On the way home I received an interesting proposal.

Then I had an esspressino in the Genesi bar. That was very nice.

I didn’t really have any work to do…..other than fix the writing on the tile. Leaving that for another day when I’m feeling confident about painting straight lines.

I was drawn to my new ” larger” attic bedroom and a few chapters of commissario Soneri from Parma next. I like looking at my new extension.

I was just thinking about lunch when there was a knock at the door. It was my kind neighbour bringing food as a gift.

I watched a video by Jane Slivka and decided that I would prepare a canvas.

That reminded me that I needed some more paint. So I ordered a some and should get a nice parcel in the post, maybe as soon as Monday. Parcels are exciting.

After all that I needed another lie down to admire the extension.

Now after watching my favourite vlogger , a Dutch painter, speak about an art book I’m reading it’s wine time.

(I washed out my new palette and organised my paintbrushes somewhere in between all that. )
