2023 in Pisticci…after the storm……

I thought that I’d be sitting writing this while the rain poured down, the sky lit up and the thunder crashed.

But no. It’s  all over. It’s not even windy any more. My poor tree has been bending back and forwards since just after lunch time.

This photo makes me want to get a better camera/phone. The light was amazing. It felt unreal. Like being in a stage set with lighting.
Still not quite the right colours, but artistic I think.

It was quite wild for a while and some of the crashing wasn’t the thunder , but more of the plaster being blown off the house opposite.

It’s been a quiet day. (Other than the weather)

I watched a programme  on youtube about the Mitford sisters. It was interesting.

I’ve now laid away( put in a bin bag and shoved in a cupboard)  all my summer clothes and my winter ones are all hanging up and in drawers.

And my work diary is now up to date. I’m now on to my 5th one.

I still keep wishing I’d done this years ago. It would have been such a good record.

Now it’s time for an episode of “Have I got news for you.”

And a glass of wine.

Cheers🍷🍷
