Apart from working on the tile nameplate, which I might need to start again, I’ve done lots of preparation , but no actual painting.

I’ve been telling myself that when the set of 12 new canvas boards arrive then I’ll begin again.

Today more paint arrived.

Tomorrow more paint, canvases and ink for the printer should arrive.

So today I did more bits and pieces.

Then as I was wondering what to do about only having one photo I found some of my fireplace.

It’s currently the bottom of a fake dresser.

Before being a dresser I used to have it as a fireplace.

It made me smile. Wasn’t much good at heating up my room though.

Tomorrow I must go out. I had been going to deliver the tile today, but it’ll need at least one more coat of varnish or a complete redo.

Now I’m waiting for a friend to arrive. There has been no water for most of the afternoon. It looks like there is a problem in the next street.

Hurray, it’s back on.

I did try and find some suitable photos to use for reference on my square canvas boards…..but I wasn’t very enthusiastic.

Now it’s wine time. I should enjoy the breaks in between commissions and projects.
