It’s lovely, sitting here tonight with candlelight and solar lamps. I’m tired because it’s been a long day. And an art class at the end of it.

It went well…..the art class. A bit of drawing and some painting.

This morning I decided to give my tile nameplate a final coat of varnish.

And the paint peeled off.

I’ve used acrylic paint on a lot of different surfaces and I’ve never had a problem like this before.

I was able to wipe all the paint off . I couldn’t believe it!

I’ve now painted the tile with housepaint. It seems to be sticking.

And I’ve ordered letter stencils which should arrive on Monday.

My writing was not as good as I’d have liked anyways.

Then I started a painting on my new square canvas board.

I thought I was quite clever combining 2 photos and so have a view only possible if I could levitate.

Now it’s more or less the weekend …….and wine time.
