This weekend I should maybe sort out some outfits I’d like to wear this winter.

Clothes matter.

I remember when I had a long black knitted coat and I felt like a poet.

This summer I wore a lot of clothes which made me feel good. Often like my idea of what an artist might wear.

So right now I’m wearing a very long polo neck jumper which reaches my knees and on top of that a very big tartan shirt. Then there are painty leggings and trainers. I wouldn’t go out dressed like this….. but I quite like the effect.

Today my stencils arrived. So I can get on and paint the name plate tile. I’ve never used stencils before.

Yesterday’s painting is finished.

It seems like the new canvas boards are okay to paint on.

I have a big red canvas waiting for some inspiration.

I’m wondering if it’s going to rain…..

A week on Monday I should be leaving for Scotland. It would be nice to have an unworried relaxed trip.( just telling myself…)

I’ve got plans now for the weekend. Mostly house stuff.

But first it’s wine time.
