This morning , apart from going to the street market and finishing yesterday’s painting I didn’t have any plans.

I more or less finished the painting before I went out.

I was looking for socks at the market,but bought a sort of jacket instead . This is so that I will feel ” all cool and interesting” while travelling to Scotland. I need a little confidence boost.

I’ve a pair of black wide corduroy trousers and this is just the right length. I went back 3 times before I bought it. ( that is supposed to show that I thought about …..for about 20 minutes)

I put another coat of varnish on the tile nameplate. Probably I’ll deliver it on Friday.

Then I watched a video with paintings ( done on Ipad) by David Hockney. They made me feel happy.

So, inspired I did a very quick painting on my tablet just for fun.

Now I’m waiting for a friend to arrive. I’ve lit the candles .Some ” dark blues ” are playing. It’s dark outside, but cosy in here. No sign of the moon tonight.

Tomorrow is a holiday.

I think it’s going to rain.

Wine time now.
