2023 in Pisticci….happiness…..

This morning happiness for me was making a cup of tea with dried fruits, a gift from a client in the summer.

The mug was a gift and actually so was the kettle.

It was raining, windy and cold outside , but I was warm inside and watching my favourite art vlogger. Titus Meeuws.

Enjoyed this week’s vlog.

I like to think that being content is hopefully normal and happiness just happens.

Today is the first day when I’ve had the heater turned on during the day.

Yesterday I sealed up the door with a combination of parcel tape, kitchen roll, a cream coloured fleece and a strip of plastic supposed to be used for hiding electric cables.

Despite what it sounds like it looks quite neat. I’m working on how I can make double glazing next.

Oh, and I forgot to mention the rock which is holding down the fleece as the wind hurtles under the door. ( that’s a slight exaggeration, but I thought it sounded good. )

I think I’ve finished the latest little painting which I plan to put in a big frame.

Relatively pleased with this.

I’ve now chosen 3 photos so that I can pick one image to paint tomorrow. I’m not exactly excited about any of them….but once I get started I’ll hopefully find something special in them to keep me going.

It’s very windy outside right now. I went out to photograph the light earlier. It was a bit scary.

I have never been able to like the stupid fence, which was put up to stop people throwing rubbish down the hillside.

Now it’s wine time and hopefully the WIFI will stay on so that I can enjoy ” Have I got news for you” and “Graham Norton.” Nice Saturday evening in.

Cheers🍷🍷
