It began with a trip to the ” meetmarket ” to buy the stuff I needed for my double glazing. I also bought some plastic bags to put paintings in at the market.
On the way home I was passing the doctor’s surgery and thought that I might as well pop in and see if there was a big queue. There were only 3 people so I sat down , deciding that I would just get my flu injection today instead of waiting till tomorrow afternoon.

It was a fairly long wait. About an hour and a half. I’m happy to say that all the other patients ,who were by now waiting in the queue after me were all very pleased with me when I spent approx 4mins with the doctor.
So that was that.
Next I got to work on the double glazing. What a horrendously fiddly job it was. I was attempting to stick 2 layers of thick cellophane to the window with double sided tape. The tape was awful to work with and the covering came off in bits. Then my scissors nearly got glued together. It was not a neat job. However I have another 10 sheets of cellophane if I need to do it again. ( strong possibility.)

I didn’t do any painting today.
The art lesson went well.
Now I’m warm and happy and a little bit curious to see if my ” double glazing” makes any difference/ remains stuck to the window/ or anything else happens which I haven’t thought of.
Cheers 🍷🍷
