I wasn’t sure if I would put up any decorations.

However after receiving this delicious enormous piece of cake from my neighbour I was on a bit of a sugar high so I am now decorated.

It was fun getting all organised. I even painted over the scuff marks on the floor and put a cover James gave me on the chest. Little things, but very satisfying.

At the back of my mind was also the thought that I might get some visitors in the next few days.

My Facebook sale has begun and so far I’ve sold 4 paintings, maybe 5 and have several people coming to look around.

It was a lot easier to take photos , put them on facebook and then answer inquiries than freeze for hours at a market.

Having gone food shopping this morning I’m now theoretically ready to spend several days concentrating on portraits.

For now, I’m enjoying being warm and Christmassy.
