I bought some more little twinkly lights today.

One set is around my main door.

And the other set is spread over the oleander by my other door.

It’s been a strange day.

I haven’t painted at all. I have days like that sometimes when I just can’t make myself do it. ( I have time left to finish.)

So while I waited for Fluffy to finish her nap on my bed……

I thought it would be funny to make it look like tinsel was spread along behind the flowerpots on my fake window ledge.

Eventually Fluffy woke up.

I went out and met someone who reads my blog on my way to the supermarket. Nice.

Then after buying the lights when I was walking up the street a car stopped and the ” stoveman” asked if I would be in tonight. Maybe I’ll be getting my stove fixed after all…….we’ll see.

So now my Christmas tree thingy has been moved from the top of the pellet stove.

Because I felt a little guilty about not painting I took a note book and wrote down all the things I need to fix in the portraits. Making a list is quite helpful as it means there is an end in sight.

It was a pretty sunset.

Now it’s wine time.

(I’d better finish these portraits tomorrow. )
