As I’m sitting here writing this the wind is strengthening again. I’ve just been outside to see the beautiful light.

Since lunch time there has been wind, rain and thunder. Not constantly, but one peal of thunder was so loud and so close that I thought my windows might blow out. My broom is jammed between the chest of drawers and the panel covering the fireplace to stop it blowing down. I can hear thunder in the distance right now. That will be the third time the storm has passed by………..

However it’s cosy inside and I went out earlier to the supermarket when it was merely grey.

I came home to a musical accompaniment from the church.

Took a few photos as well.

The thunder is getting closer……..

It was a good day for doing little things and I ticked off most of the things on my list. Including hoovering. ( I hate hoovering.) Cooking chickpeas. Grating cheese…..except I had to slice it as the grater has mysteriously disappeared.

I watched some artist interviews which was quite interesting . I’m looking for inspiration.

Now it’s wine time. I’ll need to look for something else to watch on Netflix as I finished the terribly exciting Harlan Coben series last night. Something a bit more peaceful tonight I think…….
