It was cheering to have visitors…..and before I took the Christmas decorations down. Now I’ve met the lady who watched the fireworks together with me at New Year. It’s a small town.

As I should properly get back to work tomorrow I finished off some holiday jobs…..like transferring info from one diary to the next .

Taking the decorations down didn’t take very long. Like every year I’ll no doubt find something I’ve missed. As I spent extra time at home over Christmas I’m glad they were twinkling and cheerful unlike myself briefly. ( thanks covid!)

My work diary is now up to date.

I did a small Sunday painting….

It’s cold outside ,but my pellet stove is burning furiously in the corner. After about 2 hours I can turn it off and be warm for the rest of the evening.

I’ve now got 3 bottles of home made wine……
