But not nearly as cold as 2017.

It was supposed to rain today, but so far it’s been merely dull , grey and threatening. It’s a horrid damp cold.

I bought a non stick pan and a scarf at the market today, but wasn’t tempted to rummage as it was too chilly.

I arrived home with lots of heavy things from the nearby supermarket.

This afternoon I’ve been working on a portrait of someone wearing glasses and I’ve worked out that the problem I’m having with the eyes has to do with distortion caused by the glasses. Now that I realise that I can fix it…..

Tonight I’ve got a friend dropping in and then it’s pizza night. On the way I need to collect a parcel with paint which was left at a bar at the other side of town.

Now I’m enjoying sitting here in candle light with the pellet stove burning in the corner.

I went out to take a photo.
