Not that cold by some standards, but this morning it felt chilly to me. I went for a short walk to the end of the street and back.

I had planned to finish the portrait painting to 80% , but I couldn’t get started so went upstairs to read for a while. Usually after about 15 minutes I’m bored and get started work.

Fell asleep……..

After lunch I eventually got to work and am now at 80% .

I was glad to light the stove around 4pm. It’s hat and gilet weather inside. ( not counting thermals, 2 jumpers and thick socks.)

However I’ve done enough today. I’ ll look at the portraits on Monday and see if there is anything else I can do.

I’m thinking of taking the gas heater into the workroom tomorrow and tidying up my paints. I’ve so many new ones . It would be nice to be organised.
