My camera arrived today.

I’ve never been very good with technology. Maybe I will improve!!!

Firstly I couldn’t follow the printed instructions. ( they were in English).

I found a video on youtube where a nice lady had bought a camera exactly like mine and she was starting it up. That helped.

(I couldn’t understand where the battery went.)

Once I got the battery in I made some progress and actually took some photos.

Unfortunately I can’t post them as I can’t get them off the camera . There is WIFI but I got confused. I did plug in a cable to my laptop , but I think I forgot to download them. And I can’t find a card reader anywhere…though I used to have several.

However I’ll get the hang of it eventually.

I read a review where the man writing it said that he would give this camera to his 10 year old son. I found that reassuring. He also said that the zoom function was pretty good.

Simple with a good zoom sounds just right. And it’s fits in my hand very nicely.

I’ve ordered a smart little bag for it .

And then my monitor arrived. Basically more of the same happened. I’ve put it in the other room so it doesn’t annoy me any more.

Despite everything google was amazing at answering my questions. ( it feels a bit weird that my phone is like an entire library.)

Hopefully I’ll eventually work everything out.

But now I really need a glass of wine.
