The portrait is coming along. I think I’m at about 80% so I’m going to leave it for a few days and work on something else tomorrow.

Got my electric bill today. €69 for 2 months. I’m quite careful with electricity, but that was still a nice surprise.

There were lovely pink clouds floating about this morning.

I’m looking forward to my camera bag arriving so that I can take my camera out for a walk and try out some different effects. I’d like to get some new angles in Pisticci to paint. And as travel was on my list of things to do this year I’m hoping it’ll be an asset in general.

I don’t know where I’d like to go and what I’d like to do there. I checked out train routes in Italy today. Then I looked up art exhibitions, but I wasn’t impressed. I’ve been to Florence 5 times so I’d like to try other places.

I might start off with Lecce as it’s not far away and is gorgeous.
