It was a lovely day for hanging out washing.

And then for a nice walk up town to buy wine and meet a friend.

It was pretty good to be able to sit outside in the sunshine in the piazza. It is January after all.

Today seemed to be a day for meeting lots of people.

It reminded me of how it’s possible to live here by myself.

I took a few minutes to have some more practice with my camera up by the church.

It will take some practice to make the most of the camera.

I was going to start a local scene commission , but mostly I spent time trying to fix the portraits.

Tomorrow had better be a long painting day.

Now the stove is lit and I’m warm.

Time for a glass of wine. 🍷🍷

( All afternoon there have been very loud aeroplanes flying overhead. I wonder what is going on……)
