This morning my plan was to paint 4 eyes, but in fact I’ve now reached the 80% finished stage.

I felt more confident today.

Even though I’m working from a blurred photo where even AI couldn’t help very much I’m pleased with how far I’ve progressed. After all these years of painting portraits I have a reasonable idea of what should be there even if it’s not visible.

So I think with just a little more work I’ll be done.

My latest small pieces of technology arrived.

The first was a battery charger for my camera so that I don’t have to plug the camera in to charge it.

I couldn’t believe the size of the attached instructions. Who could read this…..

I also bought a flash drive….and after having to restart my phone twice I googled how to safely remove it from the phone. Better!

I think I can use it with my laptop too….but am leaving that for another day.

I’ve enjoyed today despite feeling that I should have gone out for some exercise. ( going tomorrow, definitely . )

It’s nice to feel good painting.

Now I’m waiting for a friend to arrive and then it’s pizza night at the Lanterna.
