It was really exciting. I’ve never used ” good” watercolours before. A big box of these costs a lot more than I would normally pay. This is somewhat of a tester set.

It’s so cute! 

Had it all drawn , not awfully well, when I realised that I would need to keep opening it to use the paint. However , I managed.

The brush could take some getting used to as it is very small. But it would work well for travelling.  Now I need to find a tiny water container and I’m all set.

I didn’t do any other painting today. ( but I did write a list of improvements  I will do to the latest portraits. That’s  why the week or so after I think I’ve finished is so important.)

By afternoon I decided I needed some fresh air. (18C today) .

After 2 hours of art lesson I’m tired and happy.

It’s nearly the weekend.
