I’m getting much more exercise just taking the camera for walks.

When “me and the camera” arrived home I thought that I’d make myself a nice vase of flowers.

I emptied some paintbrushes out of an old container and stuck some fake daisies  into it. Unfortunately  it broke.

After feeling a bit stupid for trying to force bent stems into a space they wouldn’t go, I remembered about the Japanese way of repairing things with gold and making them more special.

So I had a go with a mixture of glue and gold paint.

In fact I was so pleased with what I’d done that I changed the background in the new self portrait I’m working on.

Now art lesson is over.

And the weekend starts now…….or holiday at least……

The last 2 commissions should be delivered tomorrow.
