2024 in Perth….socialising and shopping…..

It was fun to go into a big shop, the name of which I’ve forgotten, and rummage about in the art department.  Buying things online is fine, but actually touching things is better. Also some things I didn’t know existed.

Today I bought another set of water soluble oil pastels so that I can leave one set here and take the other home. I know that I love using them.

I found some charcoal sticks in a nice little tin for less than I could buy them online.

And some watercolour brush pens.

What fun!!!

I’ve painted a white canvas black so that I can paint ( using oil pastels) one more painting before I go home.

It was good to meet my sister for lunch and a wander around the charity shops. As I lost my scarf on the train I found a gorgeous part cashmere turquoise  replacement  for £4.

Beautiful  colour….and feels lovely.

When I got home I realised I’d only taken one photo all day.

Luckily Facebook memories obliged.

All these are sold. They were the first of my 50 paintings of Pisticci.
This is a watercolour of a street in Perth.

Now it’s  wine time. Been a nice day

Cheers
