Well, I didn’t really…..

I more or less cheated myself ( this has worked before) by deciding that I would only see if Microsoft word would appear on my laptop as I had downloaded the edited book onto my tablet. (It arrived while I was in Scotland.)

And just like that , it did.

So I thought that I’d  see how to correct the corrections ……and off I went.

I’m not sure if it will be saved,  so I saved a copy onto my laptop. ( I think)

I only did a few pages so it I’m  back to the beginning then it could be worse.

My favourite author ” Miss Read” wrote all her books in notebooks sitting at what looked like the dining room table. Nice!!

Wasn’t possible to press a button and everything disappeared in the” good old days”.

Most of the rest of the day was spent fixing a photograph where part of the photo had been ripped off. It looks okay now if you don’t look too close.  I’ve never tried to do that before.

Then my neighbour dropped by with cake and biscuits. Yumm!!

Now I’m waiting for a friend to arrive and then it’s pizza night.
