It took me more than an hour and a lot of stress to be able to pay my electric bill this morning.

When I was in Scotland I had a similar problem with my WIFI  bill.

The irony is that I have easily enough money to pay these bills. ( no more of the  exciting days when I would sell a painting and the next day a bill would arrive  often for a similar amount.)

This morning my electric bill arrived online. ( €68 for 2 months.)

I’ve been paying it with PayPal online since Covid. But this morning thanks to some computer  update and things called pop ups I couldn’t pay.

At least not until I had spent a lot of time trying to work out how to unlock the pop ups. ( I don’t know what pop ups are!)

However I persevered with some bad language and not a little self pity.

And I finally managed to   unlock the pop ups on Microsoft Edge. I still don’t know if I have Google chrome on my laptop. It all got very complicated.

Have just made a note in my diary to use Microsoft  Edge next time I pay.

On the plus side I was very pleased with myself for eventually fixing the problem. 

Most of today I’ve spent either watching Portrait Artist of the Year  or actually painting a portrait.

Now it’s  pizza night again.

And wine time ……🍷🍷
