I can’t quite believe I did it.

I had no particular intention this morning , in fact I’d almost resigned myself to going to Matera for a day out before the end of the month.

But I thought that I’d look at a map of Italy showing the railways just out of curiosity.

That’s when I noticed a little town on the coast with a railway station.

I thought it was in Calabria, but it’s actually in Campania.

After  a quick look at it online,I checked the price of the train…….and by lunch time I was all organised and in touch with a friendly Airbnb host.

Now all I need to do is practice relaxing and not stressing about travelling.

Doing what I always wanted to do is a bit scary ……but it’s  now or never.

I go next Tuesday and stay 2 nights.

Meanwhile today I carried on with the portrait I’m  working on.  I think I’ve reached 80%.

Finally it was time to go for a walk……

Am glad it’s wine time now.
