But after being awake almost all night,( it happens sometimes) I decided that a day at home was the best option.

I was up and dressed around 5am.

After a strong coffee I watched Titus Meeuws  latest vlog. That was cheering.

I had yesterday’s  painting of Sapri to finish and spent most of today working on it.

I’m  not sure that I like water soluble oil paints. Or maybe I need to persevere……..

It’s been a lovely warm day outside.

Then I thought that I’d start the next Sapri painting.

I often like my paintings long before they’re  finished…….

2 paintings and a sketch would be a decent result from my trip. Obviously if I sold them and covered my expenses that would be fun. But at the very least I’ll have some illustrations for my planned picture book.

It sounds windy outside now.

It’s cosy inside.
