I’ve been looking at my most recent painting. It’s not finished (and it’s possible I could ruin it still) , but I like it a lot so far.

Much more than the one I finished yesterday.

I like the composition. The statue is looking not bad. I’ve attempted cars. I love the way the trees shelter the scene. And I am impressed by the pattern made by the branches . ( I’m using my acrylic paints)

Tomorrow I’d like to finish it without getting too hung up on windows and balconies.

I’m feeling lucky because I’ve got something I’m so interested in and which, all being well, I can continue to enjoy for the rest of my life.

And maybe create many more paintings of different places. As well as people.

I haven’t  done much today.

A quick trip to the supermarket  and a coffee on the way back.

I spent an hour or so online looking up sites for women travelling alone and also by rail in Italy.

I don’t know where to go next month yet.

It’s been very windy again. I think wind makes me feel unsettled. Perhaps because in my house the elements are very close. Double glazing and insulation keeps the weather outside and at a distance,  whereas on a windy day here my door curtain blows back and forward and something happens to the drains .( enough said!)

Anyways, now it’s wine time and Sunday vlogs.
