I finished the portraits just before lunch. That is: I fixed little things, tried not to lose the likeness in the faces ( they’ve been difficult as they’re so small.) , painted the edges of the canvas….. And forgot to sign them as usual. ( Must do that later.)

It was a good feeling. Being finished. 

I was woken up this morning by the sun shining in on my attic bedroom. Lovely way to wake up.

Later I invented some necessary  shopping to get some exercise.

And took photos on the way.

Now I’m free to paint what I want.

I had another photo from Sapri which I thought I would try with the oil pastels,  but now I’m not so sure……

Might use acrylics……..

I think I’ve got an invite for lunch on Monday.

Been considering buying myself an Easter egg……

Time for wine now.
