2024 in Pisticci…and I thought it would be straightforward……..and then 30 visitors arrived….

I don’t know where to begin as I really don’t want to talk about it. I’m in the huff!!!

But , this morning I went to carry on fixing my edited  book. First , I couldn’t find it. Then when I did all the stuff I had done wasn’t  there……I won’t go on with what happened next, thereafter and finally as I can’t remember all the back , forwards, converty things , blah blah wotsit,  cloud, drive, download….etc..

I even went on skillshare to look for a course on Microsoft word. There was one, but the images were blurred and I gave up after about 30 minutes.

I suppose I’ll try again tomorrow.

After about 2hours of that I was not in the best of moods.

I still can’t find the glue. ( tomorrow I’ll buy some more. What a wonderfully simple solution.)

So I painted some more canvases my favourite  shade of blue/grey.

Very therapeutic

In the process I found a frame which fitted yesterday’s  painting and stuck it in.

Added a few more dark bits and odds and ends as well.

Having decided that this year I’d like to put people in my paintings I made a folder on my phone with as many photos of people in groups , walking about and so on. I want to add some people to the last painting I did of Sapri.

I think there might be 30 people coming round soon …..or I may have completely  misunderstood the message.

No , I didn’t!

That was so much fun. I’ve just had about 30 visitors. I think my shower room was the most commented on, with my attic bedroom coming a close second. I suppose most people don’t live in a house like mine… where a lot of it is not real but painted. I didn’t plan it. It all started when I had to cover a damp wall and painted a big window on a sheet. Then I thought I’d like a Welsh dresser, and a vintage cooker( I painted on the cooker that time ) And then a lily pond shower , more wooden beams  and so on and on and on.

I like it. It makes me smile.
The lily pond shower

I am very cheered up now. I’ll sort the book out somehow. There’s  hopefully always tomorrow.

Wine time.

Cheers🍷🍷
