2024 in Pisticci …sunflowers and Ukraine……

I wrote another blog post this morning because I was so sad and angry about what is happening in Ukraine.

And then I got on with living my best life.

Which meant getting on with editing my book. I’m quite enjoying it.

I’m still trying to go out somewhere every day and have decided that it’s perfectly acceptable to go to the supermarket daily if I want to.

And I stopped in the Bar Genesi for a coffee on the way home.

After lunch I found another frame I could use and decided to paint a row of sunflowers in vases.

Using water soluble oil pastels and water soluble oil paint is fun. I’m worried that the paintings of flowers I’ve done are not very good because they were  so easy and enjoyable.

This was fun to do.

I didn’t take many photos today, but facebook memories was particularly interesting .

10 years ago today I finished my project to draw 50 people from Pisticci.  It was a big deal for me.
6 years ago I carved James into a tufo block. First stone carving I ever did.
The past!!  They are all in their 30s and 40s now.
This appeared by accident. Have 2 empty frames to fill.

Art class was fun. I have the best student.

Wine time now.

Cheers🍷🍷
