In-between travelling , aperitivos, pizzas and markets etc.

Had coffee outside  this morning.

It was very satisfying to prepare canvases and frames .

I ordered some more canvas boards so that I can cut them to size for 2 of the bigger frames.

And I ordered some more Goldfinger which is like soft gold in a tube.  My previous tube lasted 15 years.

Most of the frames have a touch of gold on them. 

Tomorrow, when it’s  supposed to be hot again I’ll varnish them and let them dry in the sun.

I’m constantly thinking of things I could do .And despite slowing down I could end up with a good collection of new and adapted paintings for the summer.

I’m considering exaggerating the flowers on a set of smaller local scenes. That would another 8  adapted paintings. 

As I sat down on my old computer stool bought 18 years ago and missing its back and several screws I decided it was time for it to be retired.

Something new should be arriving on Tuesday.

Now it’s  wine time and I think there is an episode of ” Have I got news for you” on Youtube .
