I was invited to go to the market and for coffee today.

I’d been feeling a bit flat so it was a lovely distraction. 

I hadn’t  planned to buy any more flowers, but I saw this orange one and wanted to paint it. The cheerful flower seller put the other one in the bag as well  and charged me €5.

It was fun painting the flower. All my recent still lives are done from life. I set this up on a chair as the gas heater is not available. .

I saw the yellow helicopter today. Somebody must be very ill and on their way to a bigger hospital. 

Tomorrow I need to start work on a commission and finish it before I go to Trani.

A local politician has posted a short  campaign video with one of the paintings I did for her in the background. It looks great. I’m always surprised and happy to see my paintings displayed.

Now it must be wine time.
